Priscilla Chiangong
My name is Priscilla Chiangong and I am a junior at University High School Academy. Medicine is something that I am very passionate about, particularly on the subject of body operation and what is unseen to the naked eye. Medicine is the field that I believe encompasses all these interests as well as my passion for helping my community. Though I am still deciding what I would like to be, I know for certain that I would love a medicine -based profession. I believe that being the recipient of an amazing opportunity like this would aid in my educational exploration of this field.

Hello, my name is Esmeralda Salazar and I am a junior in high school who loves to read books and play on my Track and Field team at school. I am so thankful to have been awarded this scholarship! As a soon-to-be first-generation college student, I am so excited to have the opportunity to take this SAT prep course to have a guide in preparing me for this exam. This is meaningful as the youngest of my sisters. They have taught me to learn from their gaps in first-gen knowledge to know that this is an exam to take the time to prepare for. I am also thankful to be using the scholarship to help with buying my college textbooks. My sisters often tell me how expensive books can get in college! Thank you to GEMS x NOVACANCY Project!
